What happens at the Connection Café?
Simple connection games & group activities
Simple, inclusive activities to bring people together in pairs and small groups, make easy connections and begin to open up.
Meaningful conversation
(no small talk needed)
This is a space to express authentically, and to hold and support others in their vulnerability. This way, we become available for deeper connection.
(Optional) safe, consensual platonic touch
Use our "Connection and Touch Menu" to try out different forms of nourishing connection.
Practicing and enhancing relational skills
Led by Treasure, a Facilitator, Connection Coach, Consent Educator and Cuddle Therapist who lives locally in Fishponds!
Space Agreements
1. Take care of yourself
Notice your needs, feelings, and boundaries — and express them as clearly as you can.
2. Care for others
Stay curious about others’ needs and boundaries. Listen, respect, and respond with care.
3. Practice clear consent
Check in and get a clear yes.
A “no” or “I’m not sure” is welcome — it helps us find what is a yes.
4. Keep it platonic
This is a non-sexual space. If you feel a charge, gently lean away rather than into it.
5. Repair when needed
If something feels off or there’s a misstep, aim to acknowledge and repair where possible.
6. Release expectations
Everything here is optional. Stay open to what naturally unfolds, without pressure for any specific outcome.
Remember
You are always in choice.
You can pause, change your mind, or step out at any time.
